Meet Mexican Beauty Eiza González
On her character
"I'm a pretty tough girl; I've a pretty strong personality. At the age of 13 I told my mom, 'I already know what I'm going to do with my life'".
On her figure
"I've always been skinny. I gained weight when my father passed away and I went into depression".
On her surgeries
"I have no problem telling you that I've only had surgery on my nose. I had to have surgery on my nose twice, one for health reasons; the other was a plastic surgery. I broke my nose playing hide-and-seek. I broke my nose with a pipe. I looked like a raccoon and then I had plastic surgery, but I have no problems now. I'm happy."
On her steamy telenovela scenes
"I had never done scenes [like that]. When you see it on TV it looks like there's only two people there, but there's a lot more people behind the cameras. To become uninhibited and do everything without getting nervous, it was not easy. Sebastián (Rulli, her co-star on Univision's hit telenovela Amores verdaderos) has been extraordinary; I couldn't have asked for a better co-star, and he's still a very handsome man, you do get nervous, but the scenes came out great."
On her passions I
"I have a passion for fashion and reading."
On her passions II
"My number one passion, after singing and acting, is sleeping. I like to hibernate."
On her passions III
"Traveling [with my mom] is what I'm most passionate about."
On losing her father
"My father passed away when I was 12 years old. He died in a motorcycle accident."
On family and work
"I enjoy my family much more than I enjoy my work."
On her future plans
"After I'm done filming this telenovela (Univision's Amores verdaderos), I'm going to Europe."
