GALA FOR HUMANITY
Spanish chef Pepe Rodríguez and Antonio Banderas presented in Madrid plans for the fourth benefit gala Starlite, which will be held in Marbella on August 10. Part of the funds raised by the event will go to the foundation Banderas, lágrimas y favores (Flags, tears and favors), which provides economic help to students at the University of Málaga. Spanish singer-songwriter Alejandro Sanz will be the guest of honor, and will receive the 2013 Starlite Gala Humanitarian Award.

HOMAGE ON STAGE
Distinguished Mexican actress Carmen Salinas and theatrical producer Omar Suárez were interviewed in Mexico Coty's KAY-NAH recording studios. The producer of the long-running play Perfume de gardenia shared his wish of paying homage to the legendary actress during the second performance of the play's new season, to honor her 60 years of artistic career. NEW RULES FOR PARODY
Mexican comedienne Angélica Vale lost two participants in her Canal de las Estrellas competition show Parodiando (Parodying). Starting this Sunday, the rules of the competition will change, as some of the duels will cause "sudden death" and the losers will be automatically excluded.
