Behind the scenes
Elizabeth Gutiérrez and William Levy arrived early at the Paris Theater in Miami –locale where the photo shoot was held– in their casual clothes, where the actors became acquainted with the mix of celebs making the pages of the 50 Most Beautiful 2011.
HANGING IN THERE
Though not feeling well since being stricken with pneumonia, Blanca Soto kept smiling as stylists worked on her hair before starting her photo session.
DOWN TO THE HANDS
After having curlers set in her hair, Elizabeth Gutiérrez sat down for a manicure for an added shine to her always impeccable look.
Angelique Boyer looked on in awe as she pulled out her new Kindle, a pair of Uggs and other gifts which were given to all of the participating celebs at the photo shoot.
As the stylists worked dutifully to prepare her for the cover shoot, Mexican actress Blanca Soto and Colombian journalist Ilia Calderón sat together for some one on one time.
Actress Dulce María sipped on a hot coffee to help jumpstart the long day ahead in front of the cameras.
While the event staff pressed on in creating the sets, chef Florian Thomas of the Andalús restaurant in Miami prepared a Spanish paella dish so irresistible that Ilia Calderón just had to go back for seconds.
During a quick break from the shoot, William Levy and Elizabeth Gutiérrez took the time to beef up their music playlists with some of their new favorite songs spun by the guest D.J. throughout the day.
With all of the celebrities dolled up and ready to start the day's work, the editor of the magazine, Armando Correa, shared a few last minute instructions. And that was definitely the only moment of the day that Alejandra Guzmán looked serious...
Kate del Castillo asked the stylist, Christo, to change up her usual wavy look for the straight flat iron hairdo instead.
LIFE OF THE PARTY
Alejandra Guzmán had the entire crew riled up as the always energetic singer provided the afternoon's entertainment with jokes and her infectious sense of humor.
UP CLOSE AND PERSONAL
Playing along with Guzmán and her antics was friend Kate del Castillo, who moved in close to grab a little something for one of the most unforgettable poses of the day.
Like the professional that he is, Omar Cruz paid close attention to every last detail in order to achieve the perfect shot for every face.
William Levy was sought out more than once by some of the single ladies at the shoot, but when Alejandra Guzmán stepped in for a minute alone with the Cuban actor, Elizabeth Gutiérrez let out the claws to claim her man.
MAN OF THE HOUR
Decked out in beautifully colored gowns and dresses, the ladies were ready for their best pose alongside the only male in the shot, William Levy, who looked blessed among the stunning lineup. Fashion guru Irma Martínez jumped in to make a quick adjustment to Guzmán's ensemble.
Photographer Omar Cruz helped Elizabeth Gutiérrez take a few steps in the right direction as he was looking for the best angle to shoot the gorgeous actress.
THE CHOSEN FEW
With the gentleman in center view and mimosas all around, the stunning crew proved exactly why they make the cover of this year's 50 Most Beautiful.
Before stepping in front of the lens of Omar Cruz –the photographer in charge of the day's photo session – Dulce María sought out the expert hands of Jeremy Carta to help retouch her fierce hairstyle.
Stylist Marco Peña also finished some last minute touch ups to Angelique Boyer's hairdo before sending her off to the cameras.
Makeup artist Claudia Betancur and Realiz Alcaide couldn't resist the company of heartthrob William Levy, who appeared to have a few ladies at the shoot with their heads in the clouds.
