Vanessa Hudgens and Alessandra Ambrosio demonstrate how to wear glittery face tats at Coachella
Out with the flower crowns, in with the face tats! Yep, you read that right, folks. Instead of the staple pedaled headbands, celebs are flocking to a new trend this Coachella season: glittery, temporaryface tats.
Surprised? A little. Relieved? Absolutely. While we love a good flower crown just as much as the next bohemian gal, we're happy to see a fresh trend crop up on the festival scene. Temporary tattoos have long since been a staple for wanderlust outfits and outdoor concert getups, but we've seen ~way~ more of these babies being worn a la face.
Although rocking a glittery face tat yourself may seem tricky, worry not, because Coachella queens Alessandra Ambrosio and Vanessa Hudgens are giving us the lowdown on how to wear these like a pro.
First up, Alessandra. The supermodel (and ‘Chella veteran) chose to jump on the celestial trend bandwagon and opted for some pretty gold star tats. Placed carefully around the eyes, these tats most certainly create a starry-eyed look with minimal effort. And in a pinch, those teacher-approved gold star stickers would work in place of face tattoos.
When you try this look out for yourselves, may we suggest “seeing stars” as your Instagram caption.
Vanessa Hudgens put her own twist on the trend, opting for a gold forehead face tattoo. And even from a distance, the gold embroidered temporary tat looks divine.
Let's not forget about Victoria Justice, either. The stunning actress tried out the trend as well, opting for a brow-defining, starry-eyed look of her own. (And side note: How cool is that silver color?)
Now, if you're some of the lucky few who have tickets to Coachella weekend two, then take heed of these celebs' advice and try this boho trend out for yourselves!
