The Loves of Reggaeton Singers! Meet the Muses of Daddy Yankee, Ozuna, Maluma and More!
DADDY YANKEE'S QUEEN
Success is no stranger to Daddy Yankee, with but what the "Dura" singer values most is his family, especially his wife of over 20 years, Mireddys González. The singer and González were high school sweethearts who got married in 1997, when he was 20. “I am not a man of many vices. I’ve always been clear about my one weakness and that’s women,” he told People en Español. “Once I made the decision to get married, I knew that everything would change. I have a responsibility with my wife and I want to keep it for the rest of my life.”
Daddy Yankee celebrated 23 years of love with his wife with a sweet Instagram message for his “female boss,” as he calls the mother of his kids. The reggaeton star showed his romantic side with a photo he shared on March 25, 2018, of a private jet filled with balloons and gorgeous flower arrangements for his wife. “Because a jefe (male boss) need a good jefa (female boss),” his caption reads. “With God’s blessing, anniversary #23.”
FELICES LOS 2
Maluma met Cuban Croatian model Natalia Barulich when she was the model of his music video "Felices los 4". The steamy chemistry the duo shared on screen blossomed into a friendship and then a full-blown relationship. The two even got matching tattoos to show their mutual devotion.
LOVE IS IN THE AIR
The Colombian singer and his girlfriend are jet-setters who travel around the world together. They have delighted us with vacation pics from Italy, Cartagena and other romantic destinations.
Ozuna attended Premio Lo Nuestro with wife Taina Marie Meléndez. The mother of his two children has stood by the Puerto Rican singer in the midst of the extortion scandal and mystery surrounding the death of Trap star Kevin Fret. The singer —who denies any involvement in Fret's murder— gave a sweet shoutout to his wife on Instagram. "When I had nothing we dreamt of moments like these," he posted about attending the award show with her. "When I had nothing you believed in me. Thank you for making me a father and a family man."
The star of the comedy Qué Leon also shared this photo with his wife and kids, wishing his followers a Merry Christmas last year.
Reggaetonero Wisin may collaborate with beautiful artists like Jennifer Lopez — see their single “Amor, Amor, Amor” — but he only has eyes for the lovely Yomaira Ortiz, his wife of over 10 years.
IN GOOD TIMES AND IN BAD
“She believed in me from the beginning,” Wisin told People en Español about the mother of his two children. “I owe part of my success to her. She has sweat, cried and laughed with me. She has been part of my growth.”
Yandel surrounds himself with sexy dancers on stage, but his true muse is at home: wife Edneris Espada. The “Follow the Leader” singer told People en Español his 15-year marriage is stronger than ever. “This is our best moment as a couple,” he said. “As time passes, you learn many lessons.”
Espada is also the mother of his two children. The couple married before Yandel found fame, when he was still working as a barber in his native Puerto Rico.
The Puerto Rican singers —who made up the famous reggaeton duo Wisin & Yandel before launching their solo careers— are great friends and so are their wives! The four spend quality time together outside of work.
René Perez Joglar made it 'Instagram official' with girlfriend Kasia Monica. "We wil always be the worst dressed," he joked in this photo caption.
The "Rap Bruto" singer —and former leader of the reggaeton duo Calle 13— also shared this romantic image of a kiss with the model, wishing her a happy birthday in April. ¡Viva el amor!
