Shakira and Prince Royce release tutorial on how to dance bachata
Earlier this month, Prince Royce and Shakira released the video for the bachatero‘s newest track “Deja vu.” The video, which was teased for several weeks before the release, features the two Latin stars dancing bachata. Shakira seemed to have gotten into the rhythm of the romantic dance that originated in the Dominican Republic. She posted several videos before the video's release practicing her dance moves with different partners including Royce, one of the dancers on set and even her son Sasha.
The singer posted an adorable video where she's seen hugging her son while they both dance to the rhythm of the new track. “My favorite Bachata partner,” she captioned the post.
Now, the duo are asking fans to share their best Bachata moves and to help, they have released a dance tutorial on their social media. “We want to see you dancing bachata. Watch the #DejavuVideo and upload your videos with the hashtag #DejavuBachata,” Royce captioned their announcement video on Instagram.
“Working with her has been a pleasure. It's a very sensual video. How is it not going to be a sexy video with Shakira? The concept of the video was her idea. I think the public will love it. It's a beautiful song,” the Dominican singer told People en Español.
“Deja vu,” which now has over 23 million views on YouTube, is one of the tracks featured in Prince Royce's latest album FIVE, that reached the biggest debut of an album in the last two years on the list of Top Latin Albums on Billboard.
