Netflix is bringing the classic sitcom One Day at a Time back to the small screen—but with a cultural twist. The reboot of the 1975 series, which ran for nine seasons, will now star a Latino cast.

The remake revolves around a Cuban-American family that includes a single former military mom raising a teenage daughter and tween son with the help of her Cuban-born mother played by Rita Moreno.

People En Español and PEOPLE have an exclusive first look at the trailer for the series. Be sure to catch the trailer above and Netflix’s One Day at a Time, which begins streaming Jan. 6.
