Maluma gave English-language audiences a treat on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon. The Colombian singer, 25, performed his Spanish single “HP” and got a standing ovation from the audience. He also charmed the TV host with his humor. Maluma, who attended the Met Gala, commented about Katy Perry's infamous burger costume. “Her outfit was amazing, the chandelier, and after that a hamburger? I love it,” he said about the “Roar” singer, who sat at his table.
“She came to the table with this huge hamburger outfit and I was like: ‘Wait a second, where is she going to sit? We don't have a chair for the hamburger.' That was so crazy because she sat down on the ground and she kept there for the whole gala, on the floor just chill eating. “Hey Katie I love you, I'm not making fun of you,” Maluma clarified.
The singer also talked about his new album 11:11 and world tour. The record includes collabs with Ricky Martin, Madonna and Nicky Jam and Maluma says he is thrilled to be back on stage and traveling the world. “I love it, I was missing it a lot,” he said. “I had a knee surgery six months ago so I had to stop touring but now I'm feeling much better after the surgery so I can't wait to go to Mexico. I'm going to Europe too. Then I'm starting my tour here in the States in September and October so you guys can't miss it.”
When Fallon asked him who else he dreamed of collaborating with after his track “Medellín” with Madonna, he said he wants to record a song with Justin Timberlake. “I know you are super close to him. I need your help man in this one,” Maluma joked. “Where is my phone? Call him from my phone so I can save the number!”
Fallon admitted he was a Maluma fan and loved his music. “Thank you so much for talking to me because I love hearing your music and watching you perform and I want to get to know you,” the TV host confessed. “Thanks for having me here. This is such a dream. Thank you, de verdad,” Maluma said.

“That rhythm you feel, that's our rhythm,” Maluma says in the clip. “It's in everything we do. It's in our music. It's in our feet. It is definitely in our hearts. That rhythm of ours is always moving forward. Dreaming, creating, sharing. It's a rhythm that never stops. And we need a beer that keep up with it.” Cheers to you!
