Kendall Jenner becomes the new face of Pepsi
There's no stopping Kendall Jenner, who continues to kill it as one of the most successful models of the moment. She has not only been gracing renowned magazine covers around the world, but also walks the most prestigious catwalks, including the annual Victoria's Secret Fashion Show. Now sister of the Kardashian clan is the new spokesmodel for Pepsi, stepping into the shoes of supermodel Cindy Crawford, whose commercial with the brand was monumental in the mid-eighties.
As part of Pepsi's new campaign, “Live For Now,” Jenner will appear in a series of commercials as well as in the advertising photos.
“It's an honor to be following up some of the icons and amazing, cool people that have done this before me,” the 21-year-old tells PEOPLE Style.
In the first commercial, Kendall appears to be doing a photo shoot with a platinum blonde wig that makes her look unrecognizable. She is then interrupted by a protest that distracts her and makes her take off her wig and join the march with a Pepsi in hand.
Kendall says it's a “dream come true” to be the first model to become the face of the company since Crawford. Colombian actress Sofía Vergara also served as a long time ambassador for the soda starring in fun commercials.
