Cardi B sends message of support to Britney Spears as the "Baby One More Time" singer shares mental health struggles.

Cardi B expressed her love and support to Britney Spears after the “Baby One More Time” singer opened up about her mental health struggles. The Dominican American rapper, 26, talked about her admiration for Spears, 37, at the launch of her new Fashion Nova X Cardi B Collection in Los Angeles last week. Cardi B said she was excited to see her idol sharing a video of herself doing yoga while listening to Cardi's song “I Like It.”

“It's so dope because I'm a very big Britney Spears fan,” Cardi told Entertainment Tonight. She also showed interest in collaborating with Spears in the future. “I love you and I totally understand,” Cardi B said. “Once you have money, everybody just wants to take it from you…Or sometimes you just have, like, your own personal problems.”

Offset's wife went on about the high cost of fame: “When you're a celebrity, everyone wants to sue you, everyone wants a piece of the money that you work for — and it's very frustrating. Then you have, like, the whole world looking at you, no privacy, it's crazy. I can't even imagine if you do it for such a long time like her.”

Spears was treated at a wellness facility at the end of April, but assured fans she is doing well. “My family has been going through a lot of stress and anxiety lately, so I just needed time to deal,” the beloved pop singer said. “Don't worry I'll be back very soon.” A source close to Spears told PEOPLE: “She recognized she needed to focus on her own health and sought treatment. No one forced her to go.”

Spears wrote on Instagram on April 23: “My situation is unique, but I promise I'm doing what's best at this moment. You may not know this about me, but I am strong, and stand up for what I want! Your love and dedication is amazing, but what I need right now is a little bit of privacy to deal with all the hard things that life is throwing my way.”
