Bad Bunny's new colorful music video "La Romana" featuring El Alpha already has almost 7 million views on Youtube. Spoiler alert: a red Lamborghini goes up in flames. Watch it!
Bad Bunny just released his new music video “La Romana” featuring El Alfa and it already has almost 7 million views on Youtube. Filmed in the Dominican Republic, the video shows the Latin Trap star walking around a colorful neighborhood with people playing dominoes in the street, kids playing with old bike tires, a barber cutting hair and Bad Bunny going to see another mother figure who gives him a sip of coffee.
Then the singer gets distracted by a young beauty passing by with tiny shorts and bikini top, he follows her and seduces her into a sexy dance. The imagery makes the viewer imagining what a young Bad Bunny perhaps experienced in his own barrio, playing jump rope and basketball with kids in la calle.
He also walks by a mercadito and fruit stand surrounded by smiling people dancing, playing guitar and enjoying life. Then the video takes an unexpected turn with a feature by El Alfa that takes Bad Bunny to the middle of a desert with dreamlike imagery, such as bull skulls, that seem taken out of a Georgia O'Keefe painting.
We see him surrounded by beautiful models in a hookah-smoking fest and later enjoying a FourTrack race in the sand.
The dramatic ending even has special effects, with a girl pouring gasoline all over a brand new red Lamborghini that Bad Bunny later sets on fire with a James Bond flair. Car lovers will weep with that last scene!
