San Antonio offers something for everyone. This picturesque and welcoming city awaits for those who are ready to enjoy its magnificent history and calm atmosphere.

The Alamo is without a doubt San Antonio’s most emblematic attraction. The Mission of San Antonio Valero—the building’s original name—was a key place during the Texas Revolution. Nowadays, it’s remembered as the spot where a heroic battle took place and is considered a sanctuary of the state of Texas.

The Buckhorn Saloon holds 120 years of history. You can enjoy a Far West experience in this old saloon that has been reinvented into a very unique café. If what you want is open space, San Antonio’s El Mercado is an authentic Mexican market that hosts a variety of street fairs. Don’t miss its restaurants and shopping area.

La Villita is the oldest neighborhood in the city, located at the south bank of the San Antonio River. This historical, artistic village is a great choice for a short walk or a good meal.

The original Ripley’s Believe It or Not Museum is also in San Antonio! This fascinating museum also offers an amazing 4D movie theater. If you’re looking for entertainment for your little ones, the San Antonio Children’s Museum features three stories of interactive games for the whole family to enjoy.

The Tower of the Americas is located at Hemisfair Park, offering the best view of the city of The Alamo. At the top of the tower, you can enjoy fine dining at a revolving restaurant or simply marvel at the magnificent views from the observation deck.

The King William Historic District, located South of the city center, is a neighborhood founded by German families in the mid-19thcentury. It’s a paradise of Victorian Mansions and beautiful tree-lined streets…perfect for architecture lovers.

All along the San Antonio River, the Franciscans and other Spanish government representatives built six missions. Visit them and you will go back in time to a world inhabited by monks and natives, whose lives were completely attached to these missions.

San Antonio is a first class tourist destination. Take your time to plan your visit and make the most of all the fun and culture that this wonderful city has in store.
