After admitting in a court in Miami, Fl, that he hit his mother Verónica Castro and pulled her hair on one occasion, Cristian Castro and his famous mom are enjoying their reconciliation and seem to have left the past in the past. The Mexican singer accompanied his mother to the unveiling ceremony of the star that bares her name at the Las Vegas Walk of Fame in Las Vegas, NV this Thursday, May 1st, which was officially proclaimed ‘Veronica Castro Day’ in Sin City

During the event, which took place at the Bellagio Hotel, Veronica Castro was also accompanied by her mother Socorro, her sister Beatriz, and her youngest son Michel. But without a doubt, Cristian was the center of attention. The controversial 33-year-old singer, who is in the process of getting a divorce, seemed to be in good spirits as he danced with his grandmother and his aunt. He even sang a duet with his mother.

Veronica, who starred in the legendary soap opera Rosa Salvaje said: “This is the son I gave birth to, the one I know, I don’t want to see the other one, I don’t want to know anything about him”, referring to the ‘Dr. Jekyl and Mr. Hyde’ conflicting personalities that seem to have possessed her son Cristian in recent times.

The singer said he hoped to resolve his personal problems soon, because his greatest wish is to spend more time with his two kids.

Vero also expressed her gratitude and happiness over this recognition. “I am really happy and grateful for all these awards. I dedicate this star to my fans and my family, who have always stuck with me in good times and in bad”.

Vero’s star was placed in front of the MGM Hotel, very close to those of fellow Mexican living legends Los Tigres del Norte and Vicente Fernández.
