Taylor Lautner confirms which Taylor Swift song is about him

Remember when “Taylor squared” was a thing? After meeting on the set of Valentine's Day, Taylor Swift and Taylor Lautner dated for a few months in 2009. The relationship ended and Swift did what she does best. She wrote a song.

Fans have speculated for years that T.Swift draws inspiration from her love life to write hit songs, but the Grammy-winning singer has never confirmed.

Now, nearly seven years later, Lautner opened up about his relationship with Swift during a Facebook Live video to promote the new season of Scream Queens.

Lautner's co-star Lea Michele stirred up the topic of his past relationship and the song assumed to be about him. “You dated Taylor Swift, I remember that,” she said. “Didn't she write a song about you? I think it's something about a sweater and a hat, right?”

After Michele continued trying to figure out the name of the song, Lautner finally replied, “It's called ‘Back to December.”

“That's what she does,” Lautner said. “She writes songs.”
