Watch out Twitter. Snapchat is now the app of choice with 150 million people using the service daily, reported Bloomberg.

Twitter lags behind with 310 million monthly active users, according to its most recent earnings report.

Twitter was once the largest social network after Facebook but was topped by Instagram, Messenger, and Whatsapp.

Snapchat has grown to fame with the popular filter options including face swaps, puppies, and flower crowns. The app also has the pressure of checking content daily with stories expiring after 24 hours.

Although Snapchat has more daily users than Twitter, nine percent of American adults use Twitter for news against the 2 percent that go to Snapchat for news, according to a Pew Research Center study.

Snapchat might just change those numbers as the company is set to launch a redesign of its Discover feature to try and increase the users who use Discover, reported Digiday.
