It looks like Rogelio Guerra’s return to melodramas is welcoming him back, right into the arms of Lucero, who he’ll share the small screen with in the soap Mañana es para siempre, in which the two play a couple.

“I was surprised, because I never thought my character would have a wife that was so young, and beautiful and talented. Yeah, it’s rare,” said the 72-year-old actor to Televisa Espectáculos. In real life, he’s married to a 39-year-old woman.

“I don’t feel so weird because I’m about 25 years older than my wife Maribel, so I have some experience with what that feels like,” said the star of Los ricos también lloran.

The actor also has approval from Mijares, the husband of the “Electricidad” singer, for all the romantic love scenes between the two in the soap.
