After conquering the music world, Dulce María, a singer for the Mexican pop band RBD, now wants to take on the big screen. Dulce will star in the movie Una vez más by Stan Jakubowicz, who produced the hit film La mujer de mi hermano.

“Dulce María has always surprised me with her multiple talents. She can act, sing, compose and we’ll be able to see all her facets in this movie,” Jakubowicz said. The producer added that the 22-year-old redhead is very excited about this new project.

The RBD singer will play a girl named Leo, who likes music and painting and falls in love with a married man 20 years older than her. Leo has a torrid romance with a serious and calculating man, who seems to be her total opposite.

Dulce will also sing on the film, written by Argentinean scriptwriter Sergio Bizzio, and wrote some songs for the soundtrack.
