RBD says their breakup was a group decision
Pedro Damián said the band, who will record their last albums 2009, was in agreement about splitting up
Although fans still can't believe the news that music group RBD will disband, Pedro Damián, confirms it's true, and that the decision to breakup was not forced upon the group, but rather it was a collaborative decision among the group's members.
“This is a decision the group made together so that they could continue to evolve. It wasn't forced by me or any of the higher-ups, or anything like that,” said the producer of Televisa Espectáculos.
The TV and music producer said he regrets that RBD, won't be around anymore. the music group managed to sell more than 11 million records within four years, no to mention the one they'll be recording in 2009, before they said their final farewell.
“A new disc called ‘Greatest Hits of RBD,' will be released this year with 15 of their most popular songs, and later they'll record a new album that's slated for an early 2009 release. We also want to make a movie, but we'll see how that pans out with the tour and saying goodbye to their fans,” said the producer.
