Fans of RBD have been eagerly awaiting a movie starring their beloved singers. However, La oreja, has announced the film project has been scrapped, due to scheduling conflict of the various members.

“I don’t know what’s going to happen. I have to say I’m a bit sad about it. Everything’s up in the air,” said the creator of the group, Pedro Damián, 55, who explained that getting everyone together to commit the time to shoot is a difficult task.

The “Empezar desde cero” singers will begin recording their last album for EMI, who they still hold a contract with until February 2009.
