RBD calls it quits
The Latin Grammy nominated Mexican pop group that gained popularity from Televisa's teenage-oriented telenovela Rebelde disbands.
RIP RBD. After four years of making music together, the pop group officially announced its farewell tour, and the group has said that it plans to disband. This comes as no surprise to fans who have seen the band slowly crumble, as members began to take on other projects and solo careers.
“Together, we've made our dreams come true and were able to laugh and cry with our songs and with all of our fans,” said Christian Chávez, 25, Dulce María, 22, Anahí, 24, Maite Perroni, 25, Christopher Uckermann, 21, and Poncho Herrera, 25, in a press release that was posted on the site Esmas.com.

You'll be forever in our hearts, like you've always been. All great things need to move on and transform, and that's what we're trying to do,” said the singers, who are taking on new projects and opportunities.
