He may have quit his role as lead singer of Kumbia All Starz, but Pee Wee is still in high demand. Just months after disputes with producer AB Quintanilla forced him to leave the group, the-24-year-old musician has accepted an offer to host the upcoming MTV Tr3s program Bust a Ritmo, which airs in June.

"Hosting my own show has allowed me to explore new sides of me I didn't know I had…and to be silly…and to just have fun!" the singer said on the music channel's blog.

The new series Bust a Ritmo will be focused on dance, a theme that prompted the network to contact Pee Wee. "We at MTV Tr3s thought of something: ‘Why not take the hottest cumbia singer and put him on MTV Tr3s?' Pee Wee will light up the screen with his fierce dance steps," MTV Tr3s said of their decision.

On the show – which kicks off June 16 – one lucky viewer will be chosen to take dance classes with a Latin-dance choreographer. He or she will attempt to make a dream come true through dancing, anything from a dance-infused marriage proposal to a surprise salsa session with mom.
