Patrick Swayze, the actor whose roles in Ghost and Dirty Dancing made him a star, has pancreatic cancer. Following the report from tabloid The National Enquirer that Swayze has only five weeks to live, the 55-year-old’s publicist told the New York Post‘s Page Six that the sad news is true.
According to the Enquirer, the disease initially only affected his pancreas, but has now spread all over his body. The actor has been undergoing chemotherapy treatment at Stanford University’s prestigious cancer center.
