Mary-Kate Olsen Makes Trip to Emergency Room
The actress was hospitalized in New York for a kidney infection
People.com reports that Mary-Kate Olsen had to be taken to a New York City emergency room for a kidney infection on Monday.
“Mary Kate got a kidney infection,” said Nicole Caruso, rep for the actress, 21. “She's resting comfortably and will be released in the next day or so.”
This isn't the first time that Olsen, who came into the spotlight alongside twin sister Ashley on the series Full House, has faced health problems. In 2004, she checked into Cirque Lodge rehabilitation center in Utah to be treated for anorexia.
“Mentally, physically, I feel pretty on top of my game right now,” she said in an interview posted on Entertainment Weekly‘s website. “Talk to me next week, I don't know. Today, I feel good.”
