The 24 (FOX) hero is arrested for the second time for driving under the influence
Actor Kiefer Sutherland was arrested last Tuesday for driving while intoxicated in Beverly Hills, CA. This means that he could go to jail if declared guilty, since it’s the second time he’s faced a DUI.
The actor, 40, was arrested just hours before being awarded the ACTRA Award of Excellence at the Los Angeles residence of the Canadian Consul General. Officials stopped the 24 (FOX) star for making an illegal U-turn. After being pulled over, he failed a sobriety test. He was released from the Hollywood station at 5:42 a.m. after paying a $25,000 bail.
Sutherland will have to appear before a judge on Oct. 16. If found guilty, he faces a minimum of four days in jail. His previous DUI happened in 2004, also in California.
