Kevin Federline...In Danger of Death?

According to the celebrity dish program Entertainment Tonight (CBS), sources have informed that one or a few individuals are contracted to take the life of Kevin Federline, 29. ET informs that they've been working on this story for the last two months.

Reports say that the Los Angeles Police Department (LAPD) and the FBI are looking into the case. Spokesperson for the LAPD, Lee Sands, confirmed that the investigation of possible contracted killers against Federline is in the works, and that this information has been passed on to the FBI.

Laura Eimiller, spokesperson for the FBI, said they received unconfirmed information, and they recommend that the LAPD take control of the case with “extreme caution.”

These rumors surfaced less than two months after the divorce between Federline and singer Britney Spears, 25, which was made official last July 30. The ex-couple is currently involved in a custody battle over their two children, Sean Preston, 2, and Jayden James, 1.
