ONE STEP AT A TIME
Carmen Campuzano has reportedly had a setback in her struggle to stay clean and clear of drugs. According to what her sister-in-law told the entertainment news show La Oreja (Galavisión), there are no plans to have the controversial model go into rehab. “We can't commit her by force (…) Obviously Carmen is an addict. As long as she does not want to be well, it's not going to happen,” said Lucy Mora. “We have to say so many things to her to encourage her to fight, but unfortunately, we don't know how.” NEW PROJECT
Mexican actress Adriana Barraza is thrilled with her next project: playing Azucena Villaflor, the woman who began the Mothers of the Plaza de Mayo movement during Argentina's military dictatorship. “The story begins after the terrible events by the military that took place in Argentina. Her son was kidnapped, and so was she. My role is about her struggle, how she urged women to fight, and how she fought against religion and the military,” Barraza explained. Filming for the movie, to be directed by Raul Peyla, begins in August in Buenos Aires.
