Julio Iglesias Jr. has gotten off on the right foot in the country music industry after being named the winner of the CMT reality show Gone Country.

“I really had no idea what to expect when I agreed to do Gone Country, and I really didn't expect to make such great friends with the cast and the songwriters I worked with. The whole experience was amazing,” the Spanish singer said. “I'm not sure where all of this will take me, but I really hope country radio likes this single as much as we enjoyed writing and recording it.”

During the series, Enrique Iglesias' brother, 35, wrote and performed the song “The Way I Want You.” For two weeks, he lived with and competed against six other musicians with no background in country music in a mansion outside of Nashville, TN. The goal of the show was to discover the singer with the most potential for success in the country music world.
