Jennifer López and Marc Anthony found the perfect formula to protect their careers and stay closer than ever: going on tour together. The couple will both headline a concert this fall; they’ll perform in the US, Canada and Puerto Rico.

In the course of this new adventure, the 38-year old lovebirds will perform separate sets of their own recorded material and will also sing together, both in English and Spanish. But music isn’t the only issue that inspired the couple; they plan to use this tour to create awareness of childhood obesity. “When I was a little girl, my friends and myself spent most of the time outdoors in the neighborhood. Today we are have the first generation of sedentary kids,” as López points out in a press release. She added, “we must promote the importance of a healthy diet and that exercise can be fun”.

In support of the cause Mr. and Mrs. Muñiz will donate one dollar for every tour ticket sold to Run For Something Better, an exercise initiative dedicated to reduce childhood obesity. The concert tour kicks off in Atlantic City on September 29.
