THANKS, BUT NO THANKS The famed Mexican group RBD won't be in attendance when singer Paulina Rubio marries boyfriend Colate because they have a performance scheduled in Brazil the day of the nuptials. Popular group member Anahí, 23, said she was sorry they couldn't attend: “We're very sad. Truth is, we were dying to go and we couldn't believe she had invited us. Truth be told, she's really something else. We were very excited. We were all ready to order our dresses. We were acting as if we were the bride's cousins, I swear, [we were] very excited, but unfortunately, we will be in Brazil, and there are no flights available,” the singer told Mexican television show La Oreja (Galavisión).
FAMILY TUMOR During a visit to the hospital where she had surgery for a thyroid tumor, actress Laura Zapata, 50, once again told the press that she doesn't consider stepsisters Thalía and Ernestina Sodi her relatives and added that she would rather talk about her paternal family. Also, the well-known novela villain said that the tumor for which she went under the knife was a product of the tough and stressful family issues she's had to live through since her kidnapping.
