Itatí Cantoral considers her pregnancy a miracle
The Mexican actress was convinced she wouldn't have any more children because she only has one ovary
Itatí Cantoral is overwhelmed with joy over her pregnancy. The Mexican actress is already four months pregnant and thinks it's a miracle! Mexican news agency Notimex reported that Cantoral was convinced she would never become pregnant again because she has only one ovary left.
The 32-year-old actress shared the happy news with the Mexican press at a gathering to promote her new musical Dulce Caridad. Itatí, the daughter of composer Roberto Cantoral announced that her twins José Eduardo and Roberto Miguel, – from a previous marriage to actor Eduardo Santamarina – are thrilled they will soon have a new brother or sister.
Itatí still doesn't know the baby's sex. “Honestly, I just want it to be healthy. Everyone in my family wants a girl, but I bet it's going to be a boy. I love boys, I think they are less complicated than we are,” Cantoral said. “I just hope to have a healthy pregnancy and be able to fulfill all my duties in the play.”
The actress assured that once she gave birth, she would continue to fulfill all the requirements of her busy work schedule without spending too much time away from the baby: “My breast and the child will always stay together,” she joked. “This profession gives you the opportunity to bring your kids to the workplace. I did that with my twins.”
The actress became engaged to Carlos Alberto Cruz last August.
