Salma Hayek is celebrating another milestone in her successful career. On June 17, the Mexican actress will be honored at the Crystal + Lucy Awards for the role she’s played in expanding the role of women in the entertainment industry.

The ceremony will be held at the Beverly Hilton in Los Angeles, where the 41-year-old Ugly Betty (ABC) producer will share the spotlight with other honorees, like Ginnifer Goodwin, Sherry Lansing, Diane English, and the cast of the film The Women. Hayek’s success in the film and television industries is marked not only by her work as an actress, but also as a director and producer.

The Lucy Awards began in 1994 in honor of legendary actress and comedienne Lucille Ball. Every year, men and women who promote excellence and innovation in the entertainment world are acknowledged.
