Frankie J, whose latest album Faith, Hope y Amor was released on May 28th—topping the iTunes Latin albums chart—is very excited about participating in the 2013 Festival People en Español.

Frankie says he will have his band with him on stage, so he can perform some of the old hits along with the new. “Expect to laugh and cry with me through songs. My return to the main stage will be very emotional for me.

“I am very excited to come back to San Antonio and create more fond memories. The last time I was there, I was touring with Enrique Iglesias and Jennifer Lopez,” Frankie recalls on the time he opened their completely sold out show.

As a former member of the Kumbia Kings, Frankie has many fond memories. His favorite moment with the band is when he sang with them for the first time, during the live national broadcast of The Johnny Canales Show. “It was so awesome to be in front of the cameras knowing that my family would soon see me on their television screen. It was my initiation into the band as well,” Frankie remembers.

When asked what he listens to on his iPod lately, Frankie makes it clear: “My new album, Faith, Hope y Amor…hahaha…I've been jamming to it lately! So go out and buy it ya'll! It's available on iTunes and every major retail store in the country!”

Festival People en Español 2013 will take place in San Antonio, Texas during Labor Day weekend, August 31st and September 1st. Don't miss it! In the meantime, enjoy the video for No te quiero ver con él, his top ten hit from Faith, Hope y Amor.
