Eva Mendes Poses Nude for Anti-Fur Campaign
The actress took off her clothes for a PETA poster promoting animal rights
Eva Mendes is the newest face and body of “I'd Rather Go Naked Than Wear Fur,” a campaign from animal-rights organization PETA.
The actress of Cuban descent, 33, appears in the buff on the latest PETA poster. “I want people to know that there are options, that killing a poor animal and wearing it isn't cool … Respecting all life forms is cool,” she said.
Mendes said she vowed never to wear fur again when she got a letter from PETA criticizing her for sporting a fur wrap at her first movie premiere.
The actress isn't the first star to strip for PETA. Alicia Silverstone, Pamela Anderson and Christy Turlington have also posed in their birthday suits for the cause.
