Eva Longoria Will Change 15 Times during the Alma Awards!
Actress Eva Longoria and Mario López released the list of Alma Awards nominees in an event at the Beverly Hilton Hotel in Los Angeles.
Longoria spoke with Peopleenespanol.com, and although she declined to talk about her bachelorette party held last Sunday, she did reveal details about her role in the awards ceremony.
The actress will wear no fewer than 15 outfits, which will allow her to showcase creations by several Latino fashion designers the night of the event, which will be broadcast by ABC.
“There literally will be some 10 people helping me take off the dresses, jewelry and wigs. There will be a group of people making me up and undoing me. Last year, we had a change that took a minute and 45 seconds, and another took us 10 minutes. So each break will determine how long I'll take,” said Longoria, 32.
The Desperate Housewives (ABC) star added: “Now that I'm involved in every aspect of production, I don't think it's fair to others for me to also be a nominee. We are making progress, because the show will last 2 hours. To me, this is an honorable job.”
The ceremony will be taped on June 1st at the Pasadena Civic Auditorium and will be broadcast on Tuesday, June 5th. The ALMA Awards (American Latino Media Arts) celebrate the accomplishments of Latinos who shine in the film, television and music industries.
