The Desperate Housewives star, 32, and Parker, 25, who were married in a quiet civil ceremony at city hall in Paris on July 6th had a much more lavish ceremony one day later in the historic Church of Saint Germain l'Auxerrois, near the Louvre.

Longoria walked down the aisle in a couture Angel Sánchez mermaid gown made of silk wool, with silk gazar metallic embroidery, a scoop back and a long train.

Longoria's costar, Teri Hatcher, waved to the throng of photographers as she entered the church, which was decorated with 1,000 flowers for the ceremony officiated by Father Dominic Schubert. Some guests ducked behind a large screen meant to shield them from the press.

Other Housewives in attendance included Felicity Huffman and Nicollette Sheridan. Conspicuously absent was Marcia Cross, who reportedly stayed at home in Los Angeles to care for her new twins.

After the ceremony, the couple and their celebrity guests headed for a reception at the Chateau of Vaux le Vicomte, a 17th century castle outside Paris. Guests partied all night illuminated at one point by an elaborate fireworks display.

“It was spectacular, a real fun wedding”, said Longoria's close friend Mario López, one of more than 200 guests attending the exclusive affair.

Longoria's bridesmaids received Rafe Swarovski snakeskin clutches ($395) to match their dresses.
