The fifth runner up in the Miss Universe 2008 contest will host the Mexican reality TV show that made Giselle Blondet famous in the U.S.
Although she didn’t end up winning the Miss Universe crown – finishing as the fifth runner up– Mexican beauty queen Elisa Nájera has already gotten an offer to host a reality show with participants from Nuestra Belleza México.
“In this reality show, well show you every moment that leads up to the contest,” said the 21-year-old to Televisa Espectáculos, adding that this small screen opportunity will be the first of many projects she hopes to work on.
The show will premiere this Friday, when the girls start competing for the title that will crown them Miss Mexico.
The host, who’s expressed her desire to continue a career in modeling, recently appeared in a Barbie fashion show, and won the best body prize at the Miss Universe pageant.
