Don Omar & Jackie Guerrido Are Engaged!

It's a confirmed fact: Jackie Guerrido and singer Don Omar are engaged. Univision's weather girl revealed the news on a TV show, although a wedding date hasn't been set, they eventually will marry.

The romance between the 34-year old Puerto Rican TV personality and the reggaeton star, 29, was made public a month ago when the singer of “Angelito” told the local press that he was in love with Guerrido. Last July the couple appeared arm in arm for the first time at the Juventud Prizes.

However, not everything is coming up roses for the singer. He's being sued for child support. He has a 16-month old daughter Diana from his marriage to Melissa del Valle Rodríguez. The news daily Primera hora reports that the artist plans to lower the $5,200 in monthly payments, set by the court last April, to $2,000, because he alleges that his two other sons Daniel, 5 and BOLD {Dereck}], 2 (both from different relationships) are getting that amount.

“All we are saying is that Diana ought to get the same benefits as Don Omar's other kids,” explained the singer lawyer. Diana's mother's attorney pointed out that the girl's needs are greater that the boys. “She hasn't got a home, she lives with her grandmother and doesn't even have her own room. Given her father's life style, we don't think it's fair,” he said.
