Myrka Dellanos wants to save her marriage, despite the injuries she suffered from the assault of her husband Ulyses Alonso, 27.
The Cuban-American TV anchor, 43, assures: “Like many couples, we've gone through one of those moments that we try to avoid. But when they happen, it welcomes a moment of reflection to realize what we want. My husband and I are totally focused and hopeful that this relationship will prosper. We're counting on God's support in throughout this process.”
According to the assault claim, summarized by Escándalo TV(Telefutura), that was signed by Luis Miguel's ex on August 8, the Pinecrest, FL police department received an emergency call from Dellanos, who said that after having a fight with her husband, he followed her into their bedroom, threw her on the bed, put his hand in her mouth, tore her upper lip, and temporarily cut off her oxygen.
After than, Alonso left the house, and, two hours later, after Myrka didn't let him inside the house, jumped the fence, entered the house, he insulted her while there was another witness in the room, and he pushed her again. Alonso left as she was calling the police, Alonso left.
