The son of Cristian Castro and Valeria Liberman was born on Dec. 5 at Jackson Memorial Hospital in Miami. The baby is the second child for the couple, who seem to be living in family bliss after experiencing some rough patches in their relationship.

Although the name of the newborn hasn’t officially been confirmed, a U.S.-based magazine reported the baby was registered as Mikhail Zaratustra Castro Liberman. The 33-year-old singer consulted his musical dictionary to choose the name of his son. Zaratustra was a Persian prophet whose name means “Superman.”

The baby, who weighed 8.2 pounds, arrived to the world after 14 hours of labor. Castro revealed that he’d hoped his son would be born on Dec. 5 because it’s the birthday of Walt Disney, a figure he greatly admires.

His mother, Verónica Castro, wasn’t at the hospital to share the happy day with her son or meet her new grandson. The artist expressed that he hopes the new addition to the family could lead to a reconciliation between him and his mother.
