Christian Chávez had become and idol for Latin American youth. So it’s no wonder that the RBD singer has been chosen by The News Agency concering Sexual Diversity (ANODIS) to participate in a national campaign in Mexico, to promote HIV awareness and encourage early detection of the disease.
“This is a type of campaign that’s geared not only to youths, but to society in general. We have to be more aware about [the virus]. A lot of teens don’t protect themselves. They see it as something that can never happen to them,” said the 24-year-old in Mexico City.
“It’s Best to Test” is the title of the campaign that will run until December 1 –when national AIDS day is celebrated–.
