After spending three months in the hospital, singer Charly García was released Tuesday, on the condition that he would continue with a drug and alcohol rehab program.

The 57-year-old musician left the Avril clinic in Buenos Aires, after receiving permission from the judge to return home and continue his rehab process.

Friends of the rocker said that García was taken to the residence that him and former governor of Tucumán, Ramón Palito Ortega, live in, outside of Buenos Aires, where they recorded their last album, Kill Gil.
