Bibi Gaytán says no to "Aventurera"
Eduardo Capetillo's wife says she doesn't have the time and prefers to be with her family
Much to the dismay of her fans, Bibi Gaytán won't be returning to the theater. She's confirmed that she won't be joining the cast of the musical, Aventurera to replace Edith González, because she can't dedicate the time, and would rather focus on her husband, Eduardo Capetillo, and their children.
According to Televisa Espectáculos, the 36-year-old star did not accept the lead role offered to her by the musical's producer, Carmen Salinas, because she can't fully commit to the responsibilities of such an endeavor.
“No, I don't know, I'm a bit pressed for time, and my number one priority is my family, and when somebody agrees to do a job, they should be able to do it one-hundred percent,” said the former member of Timbiriche, who also denied that her husband swayed her decision. It had been rumored that Capetillo may have influenced her, since the actor has said before that he gets jealous when he sees his beautiful bride acting in telenovelas.
. The “Mucha mujer para ti” singer also added that she prefers to continue developing her dance academy, and when she has the time to participate in a film or theater project, there's no doubt in her mind that she'll do it.
