Anahí Celebrates Her Birthday in New York

After tree parties and seven birthday cakes in her native Mexico, Anahí moved the festivities for her 24th birthday to the Big Apple. She celebrated once again at one of New York's most exclusive spots, a Japanese restaurant, in the company of her fellow band members, Poncho, Dulce, Christopher, Maite and Christian.

“The celebration started [last] Thursday. Then on Saturday, they threw me one big bash [inspired by] my idol Peter Pa, followed by get-togethers with my whole family and my mom,” the singer told Peopleenespanol.com. Her birthday is May 14th.

The green-eyed beauty is in New York with RBD to take part in Univision's upfront, the event in which the network unveils its programming for the next year. RBD will perform seven songs.

“I feel loved. No matter where I am, I always celebrate. And the party isn't over yet, even though my birthday is. Tomorrow, we are all going shopping,” she announced laughing.
