Daddy Yankee will be honored this weekend during Festival People en Español for his 20 years in music. The judge of Telemundo’s La Voz Kids released his first album, No Mercy, in 1995 and continues to record chart-topping hits two decades later.

“His influence on our culture and on millions of people across the globe is emblematic of our brand’s mission to unite and inspire,” says Monique Manso, publisher of People En Español.

Before presenting him with his award at the fifth edition of Festival People en Español, we walked down memory lane and chose our favorite cangri jams. As the big boss himself says, “Are you ready-y-y-y-y-y?”
