White should be a staple of every woman’s closet, as it goes with just about any other color. It is a symbol of harmony, peace and innocence, and also reflects light and elegance. Although commonly associated with the summer, I personally love to incorporate white into my fall and winter wardrobe. With a classic white shirt, such as those by Carolina Herrera, you’ll look impeccable. Selena Gómez and Cuban actress Livia Brito show us how chic one can look in white.

Wearing red is a powerful tool of seduction. According to studies, a woman is perceived as more attractive and confident when wearing red. I would not recommend it for the workplace, as it might be too distracting. However, it’s ideal for celebrations where you want to be the center of attention; it will be a great choice for a night out. Mexican singers Belinda and Thalia had all eyes on them in their red dresses.
Tip: Keep your makeup looking natural, by wearing brown and gold eye shadows, like Physician’s Formula’s Shimmer Strips palette in nude.
