Young Sebastián De La Cruz, who received a plethora of criticism for singing the national anthem dressed as a Mexican charro before the third game of the NBA finals in San Antonio, was invited to sing the anthem again at the fourth match between the Spurs and the Miami Heat. The 11-year-old Mexican-American received praise from President Obama via his Twitter account. "It was a great honor for Obama to tweet about me. I had no idea he was going to do this. I never thought the President of the United States would have time to see me at the NBA finals," Sebastian told People en Español.
