On Aug. 15, an earthquake measuring 7.9 on the Richter scale devastated the southeastern region of Peru.

As a result, 500 people died, a thousand were injured, and more than 100 thousand were affected by this natural disaster.

This is why the ALAS foundation, which consists of more than 30 artists, among them Shakira, Alejandro Sanz, Miguel Bosé, Thalía and Juanes, has started a campaign to collect funds to provide aid for earthquake victims.

TV, radio and the press will all publicize the campaign. But if you want to know more about the foundation, see the commercials now and perhaps donate to this important cause, you can do so at the official site of ALAS.
