The United Talent Agency (UTA) has caused quite a stir for Cuban American journalist Myrka Dellanos, demanding in a suit that she pay them $100,000 for not paying them commission, and thus breaking her contract, according to the Associated Press.
The ex anchor of Primer impacto, 43, allegedly didn’t pay the agency a commission for helping her to get a contract deal with furniture store Rooms to go.
In the lawsuit, which was filed on Wednesday in the Superior Court of Los Angeles, CA, the agency, which is based in Beverlly Hills, claims that they helped wife of Ullyses Alonso between 2003 and 2007 to obtain a deal with the furniture company, which claimed the celebrity would receive at least 333,000 dollars per year.
Now the agency argues that Dellanos has received at least one million dollars, and therefore wants its commission of 10% to be paid, according to the contract.
PeopleEnEspanol.com se comunicó con la agencia que maneja a Dellanos, pero hasta el momento no hay respuesta oficial.
