After a lot of uncertainty, Live Earth Latino is finally coming together, according to the event’s organizer, the ALAS foundation. The series of concerts will take place in Buenos Aires, New York, Madrid and Mexico City.

Although it’s still not confirmed, the groups and artists that might perform at the event include Jennifer López, Juanes, Miguel Bosé, Shakira, Alejandro Sanz and Maná, among others.

The foundation’s secretary general, José María Michavila, said that this “will be the first great event series of Latin American solidarity.” Proceeds from the shows will benefit children’s health and education.

For the time being, this information is all that’s known about the event, which is slated to have its big event on March 29, 2008.
