Selena Gomez is looking better than ever lately and that’s all because of her trainer, Amy Rosoff Davis.
Davis got the 23-year-old singer ready and in shape for her Revival tour and told Marie Claire exactly how she did it.
Check out some of the secrets Amy revealed that helped Selena get the body she has now:
Stay away from the scale: “I don’t believe in scales—I just don’t think it’s healthy,” said Davis. “But ultimately, a body that eats well and works is going to look better because it’s healthy.”
What diet?: Amy said, “”I don’t believe in denying yourself, but I also believe in moderation. Life is too short not to enjoy food.”
Don’t be #basic: Selena doesn’t just stick to the regular gym workouts but also does cardio, pilates and yoga. “I’ve always believed the best way to keep your muscles active is to mix it up. We switch things up almost every day,” said Amy.
Sweat goals: Amy introduced Selena to Shape House where clients lie for 55 minutes and have a crazy sweat session burning tons of calories.
Eating habits: “She loves Tex-Mex and fast food that I would normally not condone. I will walk onto the tour bus and smell fast food, throw it in the trash, and hand her a carrot and hummus.” Amy said. “We’ll do barely any ab exercises and two days later, I’m like, ‘Whoa!'”
